How do I find a house I like?

A. We can search our MLS for all homes on the market that fit your criteria. No matter who's name is on the sign, we can help you find the home you want.

I'm a first time home buyer – where do I start?

A. We recommend you first talk to a lender who can make sure you are financially ready to purchase a home.  It is possible to purchase a house with little or no money down. Most sellers request that buyers are pre-approved before making an offer. 

How can I find out how much I can afford each month? What if my credit is bad?

A. We have lenders who can advise you, make suggestions, etc. They will work with you to the point that you are eligible to purchase.

How do I buy foreclosures?

A. Foreclosures are listed by real estate companies and commonly known as REO (Real Estate Owned) The sellers of these properties require buyers to either be pre-approved if obtaining a loan, or provide proof of funds if purchasing with cash.  Foreclosure sellers have certain rules regarding purchasing their properties – we can help you with the process.

How do I find the value of my home?

A. We search recent sales and current listings to find similar homes. Market value is based on what similar homes in the area have sold for.  Listing a home too high can leave it linger on the market.

What is the value of a home inspection?

A. Home inspections can benefit both sellers and buyers.  Sellers may opt to have one before putting the home on the market to find and address any issues ahead of time.  Buyers are recommended to have a home inspection to make sure there are no “surprises” after you purchase the home.

A. As Realtors, we are held to a very high standard to represent buyers and sellers honestly and fairly.  We also have access to a very large database of available homes as well as expertise in all aspects of the property purchase.
